City of Summit Organization Meeting Set for Jan. 7

The following was submitted by the City of Summit: 

Mayor Ellen Dickson and members of Common Council are recognizing incoming and retiring Common Council members and board and commission members at the Tuesday, Jan. 7 organization meeting at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. 

The meeting will also include a “State of the City” address by Mayor Dickson, the swearing in of newly elected Common Council members Mike McTernan (Ward I), Sandra R. Lizza (Ward II) and Gregory Drummond (At-Large) and the announcement of Mayoral and Council Appointments for 2014.

Prior to the meeting, a reception for the retiring volunteers and newly-elected Common Council members will be held from 7 to 7:30 p.m. in the lobby outside the Council Chamber.
