Emergency Gas Leak Repairs Continue In Summit, See Road Closures:

SUMMIT, NJ — A section of Morris Avenue is closed Thursday due to emergency gas leak repairs, Summit Police said.

Police advise drivers to avoid Morris Avenue between Kent Place Boulevard and Weaver Street.

The road is closed in both directions and will require a detour of traffic through evening rush hour.

Police said to expect heavy congestion and delays and to avoid the area if possible.
