Knife Pulled In Union County Road Rage Incident, Police Say

The 60-year-old man was arrested.

SUMMIT, NJ — A 60-year-old man was arrested after pulling a knife out during an argument with someone on the road, Summit Police said.

The Chatham man was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.

At around 3 p.m. on Nov. 15, officers went to the intersection of Kent Place Boulevard and Passaic Avenue for a reported case of road rage where someone had shown a knife.

The 60-year-old man and his vehicle were found, and he was arrested without conflict. He is now awaiting a court date to be scheduled, police said.
