'Living Nativity' At Summit Church To Feature Live Animals

Costumed actors will re-enact the First Christmas with live animals at Summit's Central Presbyterian Church on Saturday.

SUMMIT, NJ — Central Presbyterian Church is hosting "Living Nativity" on the Maple Street lawn on Saturday, Dec. 17.

Costumed actors will re-enact the First Christmas with live animals and narrated scenes just before the holidays begin.

Cookies and hot cocoa will also be served with take-home craft kits available.

The entire event will be outdoors, and is free and open to the public.

The church is looking for lots of children "actors" in costume, as well as some adults in costumes, plus lots of cookie bakers, cocoa servers and people to help hand out crafts.

There will be a costume fitting (only for the "actors") on Friday, Dece. 16 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., but if you're not able to attend, the church work out an alternate time for the fitting.
