Mercedes Benz SUV Stolen From Summit Garage: Police

The resident on Colt Road told police that their garage door was left ajar at the time of the theft.

SUMMIT, NJ — A resident's Mercedes Benz G-Class SUV was stolen from their garage Tuesday afternoon, according to an alert from Summit Police.

Police said the car was stolen at around 4:45 p.m. from a resident's garage on Colt Road.

The resident told police that the SUV was left in their garage with the garage door ajar and the key fob and a handbag inside the vehicle.
