New Mobile App Launched For Summit Public Schools
The new app will provide updates and news from each school, as well show upcoming events, a staff directory and much more.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Public Schools announced that it is launching its very first mobile app that will provide district updates and news stories from each school.
The new app is called "Summit Schools NJ" and was developed through the district's website provider, Finalsite. The app is free and available to download in the App Store and Google Play Store.
Features of the Summit Schools NJ app include:

- District updates and news stories from each school
- Events linked to each school calendar, as well as the District calendar
- Customization filter to show content from specific school(s) based on user preferences
- An easy to navigate staff directory
- Additional links to important District resources: registration, school times, etc.
“Communication is essential and something we prioritize at Summit Public Schools,” said Scott Hough, Superintendent of Summit Public Schools. “Our school community expressed interest in a mobile app in the communications survey we sent to parents last year, so we are proud and excited to offer it as an additional tool to stay up-to-date on important news and events in the District.”
