New Vendors Coming To Summit Farmers Market In August

From fresh coffee to hot sauce and homemade soups, Summit Farmers Market is welcoming a handful of new vendors this month.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Farmers Market has been in full swing this summer and is offering some new vendors for locals to shop at.

From summer cocktails to new coffee and hot sauce vendors, the market has a lot to offer this August. Residents can spend their Sunday mornings, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., shopping local.

For those looking for some healthy treats for their dogs, Fit & Fed offers treats with no fillers, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives added. The treats are cooked in small batches, hand-made and hand-packaged in Summit.

According to its website, Fit & Fed treats have a natural source of high-quality protein and other essential nutrients.

This local hot sauce company males all natural, vegan and gluten free sauces. Flavors include roasted jalapeño & green habanero, cayenne and garlic, ghost chipotle, black and blueberry habanero and plain chipotle.

The hot sauces are sold at Schaefer Farms in Flemington and will now make its debut at the Summit Farmers Market.

Oldwick makes hand-crafted soups right in Morristown, using fresh and locally farm-sourced ingredients. Some of their featured soups include Thai coconut curried carrot soup, roasted red pepper and sweet potato bisque, mango orange gazpacho, lemon chicken orzo soup and much more.

Roastwell produces ethically-sourced and sustainably-produced coffee by working with local farmers. Some of their featured products include an Indonesian dark roast blend, Bali Blue Moon coffee beans, and a Moka-Java blend.

A local couple started the coffee company during the pandemic after experimenting with roasting their own coffee at home, according to the website.

Based in Boonton, Sheep Hill offers a variety of herbal teas, salves, herbal products, tinctures, spices and other goods. The owner, Megan Stypulkoski, also sells her own artwork, which you can check out on Sheep Hill's website.

Located on a sustainable farm in Hopewell, Sourland sells a variety of craft cocktails. Some of their unique products include a strawberry vodka, blueberry honey vodka, a coffee liqueur and much more.

Some of the returning vendors this month include Brownie Points Bakery, The Foraged Feast, PickleLicious, Bloomont Farms, Angel Plant Foods, Luxx Chocolat and Ahrre's Coffee Roastery.
