SUMMIT, NJ — Do you know what the numbers on your plastic recyclables mean? Or, how to properly recycle things like printer cartridges?

Recycling is an easy and important way to reduce one's waste output and help protect the environment, but it isn't always cut-and-dry.

That's why on Wednesday, Union County Recycling Coordinator JoAnn Gemenden is hosting an online webinar teaching residents to "Recycle Right." She is also set to answer some frequently asked questions regarding recycling.

Residents hoping to attend the webinar must sign up online at least one hour before the event begins.

Before the webinar kicks off, residents can also learn about the county's recycling program on its Recycle Right webpage, which answers common questions about what can and cannot go into a recycling bin.
