Pepe Named to Vice Presidency of NJ School Business Association
BOE administrator has been with the Summit Public Schools since 2008 and manages the school district's $62 million budget.

The central trustees of the New Jersey Association of School Business Officals (NJASBO) has selected Louis J. Pepe, RSBA, as the organization’s second vice president for the 2012-2013 school year.
Pepe is the business administrator and board secretary for the .
“I am truly honored to be selected for this position from among my peers,” said Pepe. “I look forward to adding value to our state association by focusing on improving the business of education that directly impacts our students, districts, and communities.”
A resident of Lincoln Park, Pepe is an experienced administrator in the field of education with more than 20 years of professional experience in management, operations, and administration.

He has been with the Summit Public Schools since 2008 and oversees all financial, business, and facilities operations for the district of 4000 students as well as manages a $62 million budget.
Pepe is a member of the faculty at Montclair State University, an adjunct professor of school facilities planning and accounting and school financing.
Pepe has written a number of articles for professional publications including the Journal of Organizational Culture. In 2005 he was selected to present a paper at Oxford University on the economics of funding public education in America. He has also presented a number of workshops in New Jersey on school finance.
Pepe holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and business administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey and an MBA in finance from William Paterson University’s Christos M. Cotsakos College of Business.
