Secret Tea Room Returns To Reeves-Reed Arboretum In Summit
The secret's out: Summit locals can soon sip on tea and munch on scones while overlooking the Arboretum's scenic gardens.
SUMMIT, NJ — Summit locals will soon be able to enjoy some afternoon tea and scones at the Secret Tea Room, which returns this August.
After a summer hiatus, the popular tea room will return on Aug. 31. Brought to the Arboretum by local Summit resident Richard Wright, the Secret Tea Room takes inspiration from world-renowned tea rooms like the Savoy in London.
Upon arrival, guests will be presented with a menu of fine loose-leaf teas and served with delicious freshly baked scones accompanies by jam and homemade clotted cream. Baguette tea sandwiches are also featured on the menu, according to the Arboretum's announcement.
