Skip The Line At Motor Vehicles In Union County On Friday

Some services require appointments made ahead of time.

SUMMIT, NJ - The NJ Motor Vehicles Commission Mobile Unit will be making a stop in Summit on , Friday, allowing individuals to apply for IDs, renew registrations, and more.

The Summit Fire Department is hosting the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in their parking lot, located at 281 Broad St. Appointments are required for certain services like REAL ID application, registration renewal, initial permits, non-driver IDs, and duplicate or replacement titles and registrations.

No appointment is required if you are surrendering plates, getting a placard (handicapped, veterans and Purple Heart), or purchasing a red GDL decal.

Those attending can park on Broad Street. The Mobile Unit is also wheelchair accessible.
