Monday New Year's Day holiday closings, library, banks, post offices are closed. NJ Transit trains will run on an "enhanced" weekend schedule.

Changing of the guard: Common Council's new members and Mayor-elect Ellen Dickson will be sworn-in at City Hall. Dickson will deliver a state-of-the-city address. Meet and greet reception at 7 p.m., organization meeting starts at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday.

PTO meets: The PTO will meet in the high school’s library at 9a.m. on Wednesday. Dial-in 888-606-9978 if you can’t make it (Use passcode: 25206776).
