TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Ongoing Roadway Construction in Summit

The City of Summit has informed residents of an ongoing construction project that may cause traffic delays or road closures in the city.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 19, and lasting through Friday, May 22, construction on Fernwood Road and Ridge Road will be performed. The first phase of the project includes the installation and upgrade of the drainage system, followed by curb installation, sidewalk repairs and full milling and paving of the roadway surface, the City said.

City officials said, the road may be closed to through traffic during drainage work and access to driveways may be restricted when pipe is installed.

Police will permit on street parking on adjacent streets out of the construction zone during this project.
