The City of Summit has informed residents of upcoming roadway projects in the city and subsequent traffic detours. The Summit Division of Public Works and the Union County Department of Public Works have joined up to complete the upcoming Passaic Avenue road project, the City said. The project will involve the milling and paving of Passaic Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Constantine Place. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour. Weather permitting, the project will begin on Tuesday, May 12 and be completed by Thursday, May 14. For more information, contact the City of Summit Department of Community Services at 908-273-6404.
