Search for Missing Summit Man, Fourth of July This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Summit.

Sunday's searches for Summit resident Gary West, missing since about 1:40 p.m. Saturday, ended at about 2 p.m. without success, New Jersey State Police Spokesman Sgt. Adam Grossman said. The searches began Saturday after the tube he and his 14-year-old daughter were rafting on the Delaware River overturned at about 1:40 p.m. West, 38, and his family were at the Delaware River Family Campground in Warren County before they went into the river with a group of others. The two became separated from the others in the river before overturning. West's daughter managed to float to a Pennsylvania riverbank. Check Summit Patch throughout this week. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
