2 Child Luring Incidents In Same Bergen Town: Cops
'You're beautiful, do you want me to drop you off?" the men said to students.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Police are investigating two attempted luring incidents that happened in the same town on consecutive days earlier this week.
Two Elmwood Park middle-schoolers reported that a dark-colored minivan with tinted rear windows pulled up to them Tuesday and Wednesday as they walked home from Gilbert Avenue School.
In both incidents, two dark-skinned men in the minivan said, "You're beautiful, do you want me to drop you off?" Both times the students ran away, said Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno.
