40 Pounds Of Pot Found In Man's Vehicle in Ridgefield Park: Prosecutor

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ – A 32-year-old North Syracuse, NY man was charged with drug possession with the intent to distribute, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Matthew Sullivan faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity greater than 25 pounds, according to authorities.

“An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force revealed that (Sullivan) was transporting…approximately 40 pounds of suspected marijuana,” said Musella.

Sullivan was arrested in Ridgefield Park, Musella said.

He was released conditionally pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
