Annual Holocaust Commemoration Event Thursday
Community event planned at Teaneck High School.

The following item was submitted by the The Jewish Community Council of Teaneck:
The Jewish Community Council of Teaneck will hold its 32nd annual observance of Yom Hashoah, Annual Holocaust Commemoration Event on Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the auditorium. This year’s keynote speaker is internationally recognized author, professor, and historian Dr. Deborah Lipstadt. Dr. Deborah Lipstadt is the Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University and author of THE EICHMANN TRIAL and numerous other books on Holocaust denial. There will be a special musical presentation by Avram, Elisha and Zalmen Mlotek.
There will also be a pre-event reception honoring all local survivors and their families which will begin at 6 p.m. at THS, in the Media room, next to the main auditorium. We invite all Teaneck area survivors to join us for this reception. For more information, go to www.teaneckyomhashoa.org.
