Monday was the filing deadline to run in the June 7 primary election for county and state races.  On the state level, incumbent Democratic State Senator Loretta Weinberg, of Teaneck, will face Republican challenger Robert S. Lebovics in the District 37 race, while in the race for seats on the General Assembly, incumbent Democrats Valerie Vaineri Huttle and Gordon M. Johnson will be challenged by Republicans Gregory John Aslanian of Englewood Cliffs and Keith Jensen of Fort Lee, who serves as the vice president of the United Republican Club of <a href="https://fortlee.patch.com" rel="nofollow">Fort Lee</a>. Democratic Assemblywoman Joan Voss seeks election as Bergen County Freeholder along with David Ganz.  Republicans running for Freeholder are Joel Brizzi and Anthony Rottino.  County Clerk  Elizabeth "Liz" Randall (R) will face John Hogan (D).
