Driver Hospitalized In Rush-Hour Crash On I-95 In Teaneck: NJ Police

A Honda driver involved in a two-vehicle crash that snarled traffic early Wednesday was hospitalized, officials said.

TEANECK, NJ — A driver involved in a two-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) in Teaneck was hospitalized, according to travel officials.

Just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Honda driver rear-ended a truck on the northbound express lanes south of Exit 71 Broad Avenue, shutting down the left lane and snarling traffic, travel officials confirmed.

The injured driver was sent to a local hospital, while the truck driver reported no injuries, state police Sgt. Philip Curry said.

A 511 NJ alert was sent out at about 8:15 a.m., and the incident was cleared about an hour later, according to the travel website.
