FEMA Disaster Assistance Teams In Teaneck On Thursday
Bergen County announced that the agency has scheduled teams to be present locally for additional days, including in Teaneck.

TEANECK, NJ — The Federal Office of Emergency Management has sent Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams to municipalities across Bergen County during the month of September after Tropical Storm Ida pummeled the region. Now, Bergen County officials announced teams will be present in the county for a little while longer.
FEMA officials will be present in Bergen County until at least Oct. 5, county officials announced, including in Teaneck today.
These teams will be on hand to answer questions, assist with registration for FEMA Individual Assistance, and conduct inquiries on the status of existing applications.

Representatives are scheduled to be at Hampton Inn, One Glenwood Ave., Suite B, in Teaneck from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
According to county officials, these dates are supplemental to the disaster recovery center that opened in the Bergen Community College Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack.

The center will host representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration, who can assist residents as they fill out applications for disaster relief.
The disaster recovery center is located on the first floor of the learning center, at 355 Main St., Hackensack, NJ. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice. Parking is available on Berry Street.
