Gas Line Repair Work Planned

Public Service Electric and Gas plans to replace gas lines around Teaneck in the near future, according to a utility company spokeswoman.

Work on small gas mains is planned on Academy Lane, Wendell Place and Starview Court, but an exact schedule was not set, said spokeswoman Deann Muzikar.

A gas leak was repaired at Forest Avenue and East Laurelton Parkway, Muzikar said. Crews were on the scene digging late Sunday.

In an unrelated project, crews are replacing utility poles and overhead lines around Teaneck. That work is part of .
