Teaneck police investigating a robbery Monday night discovered a handgun left in , authorities said. 

Three Teaneck synagogues were among thirteen North Jersey non-profit groups awarded thousands in federal grant money to upgrade their security, Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. announced.

Police are searching for the man who assaulted a local merchant and grabbed cash during a Tuesday afternoon robbery at on Cedar Lane.

FORT LEE - Police interrupted a burglary in progress Thursday night, finding three men and a pillowcase filled with jewelry, authorities said.

Derek Edwards, 45, of Hackensack, Steve Saulter, 44, and Walter Southerland, 39 —both of Teaneck— were charged with burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools. Police described the men as “known career burglars throughout the county,”

Teaneck’s Armor for Sleep has reunited to say goodbye.

The emotionally charged, rock and pop-punk band led by township native Ben Jorgensen released three albums before going on hiatus in 2008 and quietly disbanding a year later.
