Holy Name Health System and Holy Name Foundation to Hold a Women’s Health Symposium on Oct. 19
Free, Educational Event will Focus on the "Top Health Concerns for Women in 2025": Heart Disease, Cancer, Stroke and Alzheimer's Disease

The Holy Name health system and Holy Name Foundation proudly present a Women's Health Symposium, celebrating 100 years of skilled and compassionate care for women. As women enter their late-30s and beyond, many begin to notice changes in their bodies—ranging from shifts in menstrual cycles to fluctuations in mood, energy, and the effects of stress on overall health. This symposium provides clarity, expert insight, and a roadmap for navigating these transitions. Holy Name specialists will lead discussions on the “Top Health Concerns for Women in 2025”: heart disease, cancer, stroke, respiratory diseases, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Sharyn N. Lewin, director of gynecologic oncology at Holy Name will moderate the panel. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Melanie Marin, Director of the Menopause Program for the Mount Sinai Health System and Certified Menopause Practitioner. Attendees can participate in breakout sessions and peruse the exhibition area to access expert insights on a variety of topics.
