Holy Name Health System and Holy Name Foundation Hosts Women’s Health Symposium for 200 Attendees

Event Focused on Top Health Concerns for Women in 2025

The Holy Name Health System and Holy Name Foundation presented a Women's Health Symposium, celebrating 100 years of skilled and compassionate care for women, on October 19. Held at the Holy Name Sister Claire Tynan School of Nursing in Englewood Cliffs, the symposium provided clarity, expert insight, and a roadmap for navigating common health transitions that women face when entering their late 30s and beyond. Holy Name specialists led discussions on the Top 5 Health Concerns for Women in 2025: heart disease, cancer, stroke, respiratory diseases, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Sharyn N. Lewin, Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Holy Name, moderated the panel. The keynote speaker was Dr. Melanie Marin, Director of the Menopause Program for the Mount Sinai Health System and a Certified Menopause Practitioner. Attendees participated in breakout sessions and perused the exhibition area to access expert insights on a variety of topics.
