Holy Name Medical Center Presents Cancer Prevention Symposium
Renowned health experts will cover facts surrounding early detection with a focus on genetics.

Holy Name Medical Center has partnered with The Lewin Fund in recognition of National Cancer Control Month and World Health Week in April in order to present the Living Fearless Wellness Symposium on Sunday, April 10 at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly. The event will feature world-renowned health experts for an informative and thought-provoking panel discussion with a Q&A on wellness, genetics and the facts about breast, gynecologic, lung and colon cancer prevention as well as early detection. Complimentary childcare, kid-friendly activities from children six months to 10 years of age, chair massages, refreshments and door prizes will be offered. Space is limited.
The panel, led by Sharyn N. Lewin, MD, will include experts from the most prestigious medical facilities in the country, including Nadeem R. Abu-Rustum, MD, chief of gynecology service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Fay Kastrinos, MD, MPH, assistant professor of the department of medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, Freya R. Schnabel, MD, director of Breast Surgery at New York University's Langone Medical Center, Elan Diamond, MD, medical oncologist at Holy Name Medical Center and Debbie Bessen, MS, RD, CSO, oncology nutritionist at Holy Name Medical Center.

Registration will be held at 9:30 a.m. in accompaniment to the serving of refreshments, and the program will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event is free to attend and open to the public. Further information is available through The Lewin Fund website.
