LYNDHURST, NJ — The Lyndhurst police reported that a "large scale" water main break cut water service to the town Wednesday morning.

They said in a message shortly after 10 a.m. that the break is on Polito Avenue.

"Residents may experience little to no water at this time," they wrote. "Please stop calling our police communications desk with inquires, as we are attempting to handle emergency calls at this time."
