Man Shot At Pair Inside Bergen County Home, Charged With Attempted Murder: Prosecutor
A man shot at two people inside a private home in. Bergen County, and was charged with attempted murder, prosecutors said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — An Englewood man has been charged for shooting at two people in a house in that town at the end of January, prosecutors said.
Tyrone A. Rioleau, 61, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons charges, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that on Friday, Jan. 31, just before 1:30 p.m., the Englewood Police Department responded to a report of a man with a gun at a private residence on Knickerbocker Road.

Police determined that the man with the gun had already fled.
An investigation determined that Prioleau fired a gun "in the direction of two victims" inside the residence, prosecutors said. The two people were not injured.

Later that day, Prioleau was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second-degree certain persons not to carry a firearm, two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault by pointing a firearm, and fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law.
Last Thursday, the Englewood Police Department located Prioleau in Englewood and arrested him.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
