Man Traffics 3 Kilos Of Cocaine Through Teaneck: Police

The Hudson County man was pulled over in Teaneck and found with three kilograms of cocaine inside his vehicle, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A man stands accused of trafficking three kilograms (105 ounces) of cocaine through Bergen County, according to authorities.

Mervin Menier, 30, was pulled over Friday in Teaneck for numerous moving violations when he was caught with the illegal drugs, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Menier agreed to a search of his vehicle after he was stopped on I-95 South, and the drugs were found stashed in a hidden compartment in the dashboard, the affidavit said.

The Union City man was arrested on a possession with intent to distribute charge, and remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an initial court appearance, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a release.
