2 Hospitalized in Cedar Lane Crash

Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Cedar Lane, near River Road, Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

A woman driving a sedan involved in the crash was found unresponsive at the scene, police said. She was taken to  and described as having serious injuries, however, her exact status at the hospital was not available.

The sedan rear-ended a pick-up truck, and went off the roadway in the eastbound lanes, police said. The pick-up truck’s driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, but his condition was also unknown.

Police closed Cedar Lane eastbound, between River Road and Catalpa Avenue, while they investigated an hour after the crash was reported around 3 p.m.
