Ridgefield Man Sexually Assaulted Minor 'On Multiple Occasions': Bergen County Prosecutor

A 23-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor in Ridgefield, prosecutors say.

RIDGEFIELD, NJ — A 23-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor in Ridgefield, prosecutors say.

Seeun Jang of Ridgefield was arrested Monday in that town and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's office.

Prosecutors said that on Monday, Nov. 25, the Ridgefield Police Department contacted the BergenCounty Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred in the past.

An investigation determined that Jang sexually assaulted the juvenile "on multiple occasions" in Ridgefield when the child was under the age of 16, prosecutors said.

Jang was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ.
