Paving work on State Street is planned to begin Wednesday, leading to intermittent closures between the State Street Bridge and Teaneck Road. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and last through 6 p.m. Friday, the township announced. The project schedule could change based on weather. Also this week: <ul> <li>The League of Women Voters of Bergen County will host a candidates forum for the 5th District congressional candidates Tuesday at Bergen Community College at 7:30 p.m. Teaneck Deputy Mayor Adam Gussen, the Democratic candidate, will attend along with Green Party candidate Patricia Alessandrini. Incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Garrett will not attend, the LWV said. </li> </ul>
