Second Town-Wide Garage Sale Planned

Teaneck will host another town-wide garage in October after officials hailed the town’s first sale as a success. 

Parents’ ability to prevent their children from getting state-mandated vaccinations would face new restrictions if a bill headed to a senate vote becomes law. 

The Teaneck Police Department is alerting residents to a scam that could trick a victim into giving crooks access to personal information under the guise of a computer repair. 

One lane in each direction on the Anderson Street Bridge was closed Tuesday after a state consultant's inspection found the busy link between Teaneck and Hackensack would need extensive repairs, officials said. 

Eleven bus routes serving about 2,000 riders have been detoured indefinitely off the Anderson Street Bridge between Teaneck and Hackensack after officials ordered a 15-ton weight restriction on the busy crossing, NJ Transit said Monday.
