Shooting Threat Postpones Teaneck Football Game
No incidents reported at game Sunday and police say investigation ongoing.

The postponed Teaneck High School football game ended without incident Sunday after being rescheduled because of a threat involving a shooting, officials said.
The game against Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest was cancelled Saturday night, shortly before kickoff. Teaneck police said Saturday they received word of the threat around 5:30 p.m.
Schools Superintendent Barbara Pinsak said in an e-mail that police alerted the district about the threat. Officials rescheduled the game for Sunday afternoon, and brought in added police protection.
A contingent of Teaneck police officers were on hand during the game. Demarest police also assisted. Fans were not searched or screened before entering the game.
Details of the threat, including who was targeted, remained unclear Sunday. Authorities said an investigation was ongoing.
Demarest defeated the Highwaymen 34-14.
