Teaneck Project Graduation To Hold Plant Sale, 5K

Teaneck Project Graduation aims to offer a safe and fun celebration for township high school students.

The following announcement was submitted by Teaneck Project Graduation:

The mission of Teaneck Project Graduation is to provide a safe, substance-free celebration for our Teaneck High School seniors on the night of their high school graduation. For the past 21 years, we have accomplished our goal through the efforts of parents who organize and chaperone this event.

We want every graduating senior to be able to participate in Project Graduation regardless of income. Since there is no federal, state or school funding for this event, the Project Graduation Committee, which is comprised of volunteer parents, must organize various fundraising activities and solicit donations from parents, local merchants, the community and other school organizations.

Thus far, Project Graduation has held several fundraisers, including the Fall Clothing Drive, Salsa Night and a St. Patty’s Day celebration at the Cottage Bar. Any level of support from friends, parents, merchants and corporations are welcome, such as cash donations or goods & services for upcoming events.
