Wayne Man Seeking Kidney Donor Donor
Pasquale and Denise Fatica are looking for a living kidney donor.

Pasquale Fatica, at only 57 years old, recently learned that his kidneys are failing.
“We’re currently seeking someone to come forward and be a live kidney donor,” said his wife Denise.
Pasquale, 57, is preparing for dialysis. He’s currently working with the Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America, looking for someone to come forward as a live kidney donor.

He’s also on the list for a deceased donor, but that could take “five or more years,” according to Denise. The US Department of Health and Human Services say 18 people die every day while waiting for an organ donation.
Pasquale is currently registered at three hospitals: registered at Columbia Presbyterian in New York City, Saint Barnabas in Livingston, NJ, and Penn Medicine in Philadelphia. A simple blood test can determine whether someone would match as a live donor.

“I’m trying to get the word out and educate the public about the importance of organ donation.”
If you are interested in being a live donor, please go to the New York Presbyterian website to learn more. Denise asks that anyone interested in becoming a donor contact her at patkidneydonation@gmail.com.
