$100K Jewelry Stolen In Trio Of Crimes In North Dover: Toms River PD
Three homes in the Tallymawr development were targeted in a 30-minute span, police said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Authorities are investigating a trio of crimes that happened overnight Wednesday into Thursday in the North Dover section of town, Toms River police said.
The suspects in all three, which happened within a 30-minute span in the Tallymawr neighborhood, appear to be the same people, Lt. Gene Bachonski said.
The first happened at 3:06 a.m. at a home on Reynolds Avenue, he said. Four suspects in dark clothing and face coverings forced their way into a home through a front window, then stole more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and cameras while the homeowners slept, Bachonski said.

At 3:30 a.m. the suspects started the engine of an Audi parked in the driveway of a home on Brentwood Avenue, he said. They left the vehicle running and went to another home on Brentwood Avenue, Bachonski said.
At the second Brentwood Avenue home, the homeowners were awakened at 3:37 a.m. by the sounds of someone trying to get into the house, he said. The suspects broke a rear window but were scared off when the homeowners woke up, Bachonski said.
