Boardwalk Concert Kicks Off Memorial Day Weekend In Seaside Heights
Rob Benton of the duo Key West Kings is set to bring his mix of beat-boxing, electrified rock and hip-hop to the boardwalk.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Seaside Heights is kicking off Memorial Day weekend with a concert on the boardwalk Friday night by singer Rob Benton.
Benton, a member of the duo Key West Kings who also performs solo and as a guitarist with artists including Nelly, Lee Brice, Lansdowne, Skidrow, Everlast, LFO, New Kids on the Block, J .Geils Band, and more, will be bringing his style to the boardwalk in front of Spicy's Cantina, 500 Boardwalk.
He has appeared on NBC's “America's Got Talent” television show and later had a yearlong residency contract with MGM Grand at Circus Circus Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

Benton combines percussion, looping, beat-boxing, electrified rock and hip-hop elements to his solo acoustic playing, filling out his sound like a four-piece band.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. Friday.
