Welcome Santa At Christmas Tree Lighting, Winter Wonderland In Toms River
Toms River's downtown holiday celebration is ready to bring joy to young and old.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — December is almost here and so is the annual Christmas tree lighting and Winter Wonderland in downtown Toms River.
The tree lighting ceremony and celebration is set for Friday, Dec. 6, and will include live entertaiment, hot chocolate and cookies for sale from Toms River Volunteer Fire Company 1, and Santa Claus arriving by firetruck. There will be photos with Santa after the tree lighting.
The event begins at 5 p.m. and Santa's arrival will be about 7 p.m. and downtown restaurants and businesses will be open.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, downtown will transform into a Winter Wonderland, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Washington Street.
There will be family activities, caroling, holiday music, face painting, ornament painting and story time, along with other fun, organizers say.
