Cooling Center Opening In Beachwood Amid Heat Wave
The cooling center for Beachwood residents aims to provide relief in the heat for those in need.
BEACHWOOD, NJ — Beachwood Borough officials have opened a cooling center to provide relief in the afternoons during the intense heat wave at the Jersey Shore.
Beachwood residents can go to the Mayo Park Center Monday and Tuesday from noon through 4 p.m. to get cool during the heat wave, officials said.
