TOMS RIVER, NJ — A crash near the toll booth on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway was slowing traffic Thursday afternoon, authorities said. A camera at the toll plaza, at milemarker 84.9 northbound, showed a car with front-end damage at an angle to the guardrail. The state's on the state Department of Transportation website 511nj.org said the crash happened shortly after noon. Information on whether there were injuries was not immediately available.
