Delayed Opening For Toms River Regional Schools Amid Icy Forecast
The Toms River Regional School District has a delayed opening on Thursday, Feb. 6.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional Schools have announced a 90-minute delayed opening for Thursday, Feb. 6, due to the weather forecast and possible icy conditions, the district announced.
There will be no morning preschool, no morning Y-Kids program, and no morning vocational programs because of the delayed opening, Toms River Regional officials said.
In addition, the Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools have a 90-minute delayed opening. All afternoon shared-time classes will run on a normal schedule.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for most of New Jersey, with a wintry mix expected in Ocean County.
