TOMS RIVER – A gigantic sinkhole has closed a road for two days, and police have issued an alert to the public.

The large sinkhole opened up on Monday on Windsor Avenue in Toms River, and the road has been closed ever since, police said.

The Toms River MUA and Suez Water are currently working to repair it, police said.

Windsor Avenue, between League Road and Garfield Avenue, will be closed around the clock until the repair is complete, police said.
