Here's Why Payton Was Shouted Out As A Toms River Star Student

We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who's having an impact in Toms River.

Payton has her own business to help pay for the costs of her horseback riding and loves all animals, her grandmother says.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Maureen Levier, who nominated her granddaughter, Payton, of Toms River.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She is on the honor roll, and has her own business selling treats for horses to help offset the cost of her horse riding expenses and because they need healthy treats. She loves all animals, and is what all young teens should aspire to be as they grow up.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Her love and kindness to all.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Payton!
