Madison 'Gives All Of Her Time To Others': Toms River Star Student
We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one who's having an impact in Toms River.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Amiko D, who nominated her daughter Madison, of Toms River.
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Madison has excelled through high school as a top student at Donovan Catholic. Madison strived in her academics and her volleyball career and graduated with acceptance and scholarship to Rowan University as a chemical engineer. She stays humble and never gives herself the credit she deserves for staying focused and succeeding, all while mentoring others and picking up the slack in her home life.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
She excels and goes above and beyond in every aspect of her life. It doesn't stop at school. She mentors, tutors and gives all of her time to others.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Madison!
