Man Threatening Self Found Safe In Cattus Island Park: Toms River PD
The man's girlfriend said he had been threatening to harm himself before he walked into the woods.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River man who had been threatening to harm himself was found safe and removed from woods off Yellowbank Road on Tuesday evening, police said Thursday.
The girlfriend of the 20-year-old man called Toms River police shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday saying he was acting out of control and making irrational statements, Sgt. Gene Bachonski said.
She told officers who responded she had last seen him walking toward Cattus Island County Park and that he might be armed with a knife, Bachonski said.

Officers searching with the assistance of the Toms River Police Department's drone surveillance found the man unharmed at the water’s edge of Mosquito Cove at 6:37 p.m., he said.
The man was taken to Community Medical Center for evaluation, he said.
