Multiple Streets Remain Flooded In Toms River After Storm
Scattered power outages continue and backbay areas remain flooded as runoff from the storm and tidal flows are keeping water levels high.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Flooding continues to plague low-lying roads in Toms River on Wednesday morning as runoff from Tuesday night's storm and tidal flows hold water inside Barnegat Bay.
Route 35 south from through Seaside Heights and Seaside Park has areas that are flooded, according to 511nj.org, the state Department of Transportation website. Fischer Boulevard at Route 37 is flooded as well, the NJDOT said.
Residents along the backbay areas and lagoon communities from Silverton down to the Toms River were dealing with flooded streets, worsened by the combination of runoff from the storm and water pushed in by high tide.
