No One Injured In Fiery Toms River Blaze
Fire broke out today in Kathleen Court home, was out of control within five minutes..
No one was injured in a large fire that broke out in a home at 1776 Kathleen Court this afternoon, a Toms River Police Department spokesman said.
Police received a call at 3:04 p.m. from a woman who said there was a fire in the lower portion of her house and that flames were coming up her stairs, spokesman Ralph Stocco said.
All of the residents were able to flee to safety. The fire was already out of control when police, fire and EMS units arrived within five minutes. Stocco said.

Fire units from Pleasant Plains, Toms River #1 & #2, Silverton, East Dover, Island Heights, Lakewood, and Manitou Park responded to battle the blaze. Several investigative agencies will be working throughout the night to determine the cause, he said.
