Road Closures Planned During Funeral For Toms River Couple

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Drivers in downtown Toms River should expect heavy traffic in the area of Hooper Avenue and Route 37 between noon and at least 2:30 p.m. Friday due to the funeral for Evan Fiore and Kiley Armstrong.

The funeral Mass for Fiore, 23, and Armstrong, 21, is set for 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Hooper Avenue. Following the Mass, there will be a funeral procession to St. Joseph's cemetery, north of Route 37 off Hooper Avenue at Edken Avenue.

There will be road closures in place for the funeral procession, Toms River Police Chief Peter Sundack confirmed, and drivers should expect delays or seek detours around the area.
