Seaside Heights Honors Fallen Officer
The flag will remain at half-staff in memory of Melvin Santiago, Jersey City Police Department.
The Borough of Seaside Heights, among many New Jersey municipalities, will be lowering its flag to half-staff today to honor the recently fallen Melvin Santiago.
Santiago was a 23-year-old police officer with the Jersey City Police Department. He was killed on Sunday, July 13, while responding to a call for an armed robbery.
